Starring My Kid is operated by Archieboy Holdings, LLC. This policy explains the information used to create personalized books and how adults who use the service can control it.
We collect account details such as an adult customer’s name and email; photos and names provided for story characters; story choices, prompts, edits, and generated books; optional voice recordings; gift-order and shipping details; purchase records; and basic security, device, and usage information.
The service is intended to be set up and purchased by adults. By uploading a child’s photo or information, you confirm that you are authorized to do so. Photos are used to create a stylized character and support the requested book. The generated character portrait—not the original photo—is used as the main visual reference for later story pages whenever practical.
We do not sell uploaded photos or use them for targeted advertising. Gift-order photos are kept private and are not published as part of a public gallery.
Creating and delivering a book requires carefully limited data to be processed by vendors that provide AI generation, voice generation, payments, printing and shipping, email, hosting, security, and analytics. These currently include providers such as Google’s generative AI services, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Stripe, and Lulu. Their processing is also governed by their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Voice cloning is optional and requires the speaker’s explicit permission. A submitted recording is sent to ElevenLabs to create the selected voice. After a successful clone, Starring My Kid deletes its local raw and normalized training copies and retains only the generated preview and the provider identifier needed to use or delete the clone.
Books are not placed in a public directory. When you turn on a family sharing link, anyone who has that hard-to-guess link can view its illustrated pages without signing in. You can turn the link off from the book page at any time. Do not post a family link publicly if you want the book to remain within your family.
We keep account and book data while your account is active so you can reuse characters and access purchases. Unpaid gift uploads are automatically removed after a short checkout window. Fulfilled gift photos are removed after a limited production period. Payment and fulfillment records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.
You may ask to access or delete your account data, uploaded photos, books, or voice clone by contacting hello@starringmykid.com. Some records may need to be retained where legally required, and deleting source material may prevent future reprints or edits.
We use access controls, private storage locations, rate limits, encrypted web connections, and payment processors so card details do not pass through our application. No online system can promise absolute security. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in each message; necessary purchase and service messages may still be sent.
